Over the past three days we virtually joined our colleagues and peers to celebrate notable achievements in the rental housing industry at the 6th annual Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations' (CFAA) Rental Housing Awards. We are thrilled to announce that Greenwin took home the prize for Marketing Program Excellence of the Year and was named finalist in three categories!

Marketing Program Excellence of the Year: Community Engagement

WINNER: #GreenwinIsStillHome Suite Events campaign

This year, our Marketing team launched the #GreenwinIsStillHome campaign, featuring virtual "Suite Events" which residents could enjoy from the comfort of their homes. Suite Events was our way to work around social barriers caused by the pandemic, reminding tenants that, despite any challenges we might all be experiencing, #GreenwinIsStillHome.

Rental Housing Provider of the Year: Over 15,000 Units

Finalist: Community-building and outreach program during the COVID-19 pandemic

Greenwin came together like never before to offer support when it was needed the most during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our new and expanded programs including, the Lunch Box Program, delivering organic food packages, COVID-19 vaccine and testing clinics, youth employment opportunities, Laptops for Learning, our Reach Toronto partnership and more, give young people opportunities, support local businesses, and provide much-needed food and other necessities to vulnerable communities.

Resident Manager of the Year

Finalist: Rose Sekaric, Resident Manager, 80 Cosburn Ave. (a joint submission with Hanard Investments Ltd.)

Rose placed as a Resident Manager of the Year finalist for her ability to always put her heart and soul into her job and for always going above and beyond the scope of her role. If you know Rose, you know that she treats the building as if it is her own, and genuinely cares about the well-being and comfort of every tenant.

On-Site Employee of the Year

Finalist: Susan Pribicevic, Site Administrator, 88 Erskine Ave.

With an impressive 27 years in the rental housing industry and her dedication to go above and beyond in everything she does, it is no surprise that Susan was named finalist for On-Site Employee of the Year. Susan is proactive, anticipating administrative needs and taking the initiative to address them before they can become a problem. Her vision and dedication make her a worthy recipient of this honour.

We were also proud to nominate May-Lynn Fong, Revenue Administrator at the Oaks for Off-Site Employee of the Year for her enthusiasm in taking on new projects, big or small and taking great pride in ensuring they will be a success!

Congratulations to our entire Greenwin team and all of our fellow finalists and winners!
