TORONTO, ON – Greenwin Inc. is thrilled to announce the inaugural Taste of Jane & Finch, a showcase of foods from around the world. The first-ever event of this kind in the neighbourhood, the day will feature local food trucks offering dishes from Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia and beyond!

Come join us on Saturday September 29that 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

In support of the San Romanoway Revitalization Association (SRRA), a non-profit organization that focuses on nurturing the positive qualities of the Jane/Finch neighbourhood, the event will spotlight diversity and raise funds for this vital organization.

"The Jane and Finch community is home to more than 50,000 residents and is one of the most diverse communities in the City of Toronto," said Stephnie Payne, Executive Director, SRRA. "The Taste of Jane & Finch is an opportunity to spotlight the multiculturalism that makes our community so vibrant."

"For decades, SRRA has worked with at-risk families, groups and individuals to foster a sense of belonging and create opportunities for our country's future leaders," said Jessica Green, Director of Communications, Greenwin Inc. "Today, it remains one of the most progressive, innovative and reliable social service organizations in the community. We hope that the Taste of Jane & Finchwill draw hundreds from around the city to celebrate SRRA's work and experience the flavours of this neighbourhood."

A few highlights for this year include: steel drum performances, African drumming, magician, local dancers and musicians, and DJ Kehmal! A variety of food trucks will be offering Tasting Menus for no more than $3 per sample so that attendees can enjoy a multitude of tasty multi-ethnic treats.
