Greenwin was pleased to take part in the recent RHC Conference, joining housing leaders from across Canada to discuss innovative, collaborative approaches to addressing the country’s growing housing needs.
Jenn G. – Closing Panel: Delivering Purpose-Built Rental Through P3 Models
Jenn G., Vice President, Affordable Housing & Social Impact, Greenwin, participated in the conference’s closing panel, which focused on the role of public-private partnerships (P3s) in accelerating the delivery of purpose-built rental housing across Canada.
Moderated by Tony I., President & CEO of RHC, the session brought together leaders from government, non-profit, and private sectors, including Valesa F., Build Canada Homes / Maisons Canada; Marlene C., Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association; and Lance J., Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation / Société canadienne d’hypothèques et de logement.
The discussion highlighted how P3 models are increasingly essential in unlocking land, improving access to financing, and combining cross-sector expertise to deliver housing at scale. Panelists emphasized that strong collaboration between all levels of government and industry partners is key to addressing supply constraints and accelerating development timelines for much-needed rental housing.
Nikki G. – Intelligence-Driven Rental Housing: Using Data to Shape Resident Experience and Performance
Nikki G, Director, Leasing, Greenwin, participated in a panel focused on how data is transforming the rental housing sector. The session explored how owners, operators, and developers can better use operational and resident data to improve decision-making across asset management, leasing strategies, and day-to-day operations.
Nikki joined Courtney C., JLL Canada; Dilan C., Certified Rental Building Program; and moderator Sarah S., Simplydbs, in discussing how renter expectations continue to evolve, driven by affordability pressures, lifestyle changes, and rising expectations for service and flexibility.
The panel emphasized that while housing providers now have access to more data than ever before, the real value lies in translating that information into actionable insights. By aligning data with operational excellence, organizations can better understand resident needs, improve service delivery, strengthen retention, and ultimately enhance portfolio performance.
We were also pleased to have Phong N., Vice President, Leasing, Residential Research & Strategy, Greenwin, attend the conference and engage in meaningful discussions throughout the event.
Thank you to the Residential Housing Conference (RHC) for bringing together industry leaders committed to building better housing outcomes across Canada.
