On July 21st, the Jane and Finch neighbourhood came alive as the Tastes and Sounds of Jane & Finch celebrated its second year! The event showcased all the diverse tastes and talents of the neighbourhood, with local artists and food trucks offering dishes from around the world. Entrance to the event was free while a variety of food trucks were onsite offering meals for no more than $5. All proceeds went to supporting the San Romanoway Revitalization Association (SRRA), a non-profit organization that focuses on nurturing the positive qualities of the Jane & Finch neighbourhood.

"The Jane and Finch community is home to more than 50,000 residents and is one of the most diverse communities in the City of Toronto," said Stephanie Payne, Executive Director, SRRA. "The Tastes and Sounds of Jane & Finch is an opportunity to spotlight the multiculturalism that makes our community so vibrant."

"For decades, Greenwin has worked with the SRRA to foster a sense of belonging and create opportunities for our country's future leaders," said Kevin Green, President, Greenwin Inc. "This community is bursting with different cultures and talents that we've had the opportunity to experience over the years as a community partner. Now, it's time for Toronto to experience it!"

A few highlights for this year included: steel drum performances, a magician, local dancers and musicians, and DJ Kenny G!
