The annual Spider Jones' Fight for Youth Gala takes the fight for Toronto's children and young adults literally! The gala brings together some of Toronto's finest professional fighters for an exciting evening of food, fundraising – and of course boxing.
The Fight for Youth Gala raises much needed funds for the Believe to Achieve Organization, a registered non-profit that assists kids in after-school personal development and mentorship programs. Founded by Canadian journalist, radio personality, motivational speaker, community activist and three-time Golden Glove Champion Spider Jones, the organization teaches children and youth that anything is possible when you believe in yourself.
The Believe to Achieve Organization's after-school drop in centre, the Spider's Web, provides programs and services to the children and youth of Toronto's Chalkfarm neighbourhood. Located at Jane & Finch, this program has become a model for revitalization in the community thanks to the hard work of the many volunteers and dedicated partners.
