Our friends at #one2give, a grassroots charitable organization co-founded by our own Director of Brand Partnerships Jessica Green, contacted Greenwin Cares last week with an incredibly generous offer. Rebel Hair Care was giving away THOUSANDS of full-sized shampoos and conditioners. Their one criteria: that the products be donated to good causes.
On Monday, the #one2give team (Jess, Lindsay, Leah and Fern) met up with Greenwin Care's Director Lily Wong to share the Rebel love with our partners at Believe to Achieve, Toronto Police's 31 Division, the San Romanoway Revitalization Association and Eva's Place. More than 1,500 bottles of high-quality hair products were dropped off around the city. Within a matter of days, they will be in the hands of hundreds of deserving youth, families and seniors.
As the pandemic continues to affect the lives of thousands in our city, we are grateful to Rebel and #one2give for presenting us with the opportunity to provide basic essentials to those in our network who need the support more than ever.
