On September 29thGreenwin held the inaugural Taste of Jane & Finch, an event showcasing foods from around the world in support of the San Romanoway Revitalization Associationand the Jane and Finch neighbourhood.
The first-ever event of this kind in the neighbourhood, the day featured local food trucks offering dishes from around the world, as well as community booths, giveaways and loads of family-friendly entertainment. With more than 350 attendees, as well as VIP guests like Mayor John Tory and Michael Tibollo, Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the day was a huge success!
A big thank you to Lily Wong for organizing this celebration of the Jane/Finch community and the San Romanoway Revitalization Association. Also, thank you to those of you who came out to support us. Your presence was very much appreciated!
