The staff in District 2 held a training meeting yesterday to prepare staff for the upcoming fall season. Hosted by Senior Property Manager Lorelei Holden and Building Representative Donna (from 19 Craigton Drive), the meeting started off with a brain teaser game for all staff. Mandy, Building Representative from 1130 Wilson solved the puzzle and was the lucky winner of the day's prize.
Dan McCabe of Magical Pest Control was on hand to give a presentation on how to treat pest issues in our buildings. That was followed up with a leasing protocol presentation to the team by Sarah Stewart (Greenwin's Director of Marketing) and Nikki Guzzo.
The jam-packed meeting continued with a presentation from Frank Evangelou of Ace Painting, who briefed our staff on their services. Greenwin's Jessica Green then gave a presentation on behalf of The Corsage Project, a cause she is very passionate about. The Corsage Project is a non-profit program in Toronto dedicated to giving the authentic prom experience to young women and men who would not otherwise have the opportunity to celebrate with their peers due to the high cost of formal wear. Jessica discussed the upcoming Hudson's Bay Giving Day on September 11, with proceeds from ticket sales going to The Corsage Project.
