The first event of its kind in the Jane and Finch neighbourhood, the Tastes and Sounds of Jane and Finch serves as a showcase of local artists and food trucks offering dishes from around the world. Home to more than 50,000 residents, the neighbourhood is one of the most diverse communities in Toronto. The event aims to spotlight the multiculturalism that makes this neighbourhood great.
The Tastes and Sounds of Jane and Finch raises funds for the San Romanoway Revitalization Association (SRRA), a not-for-profit organization that focuses on nurturing the positive qualities of the Jane and Finch neighbourhood. Their mission is to create a sense of belonging in the San Romanoway community by assisting families, individuals and groups to support each other by building a safer and healthier environment.
