On Tuesday June 27th, the Annual Greenwin Cares Golf Classic welcomed 144 golfers, as well as supporters, volunteers, and celebrity guests to the Angus Glen Golf Course in support of the Israel Tennis & Education Centers (ITEC) and Greenwin Cares.
Braving the rain at this sold-out event, participants enjoyed 18 thrilling holes of golf with mini competitions, tasty food, and meet and greets with high-profile personalities from the world of sports and entertainment, Michael “Pinball” Clemons, CFL Hall of Famer and Toronto Argonauts Legend, and Rod Black, award-winning Sports Broadcaster, along the way.
We extend our gratitude to our sponsors, supporters, and volunteers, whose support not only made this event possible, but provides youth with life-changing experiences. Together, since 1993, we have raised over $6.5 million to make a brighter future for children and youth everywhere.
ITEC aims to cultivate children’s character by utilizing sports, resulting in the development of self-esteem, tolerance, and communication skills, leaving a lasting impact on children, their families, communities, and future generations. Since 1978, ITEC has expanded to 23 locations in at-risk neighbourhoods throughout Israel. Presently, it caters to more than 20,000 children annually, providing them with valuable opportunities for growth and development, while also strengthening Israel as a whole, and creating a more peaceful society.
