An after-school program focusing on sports, homework and mentoring programs received a $50,000 boost from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) Foundation Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Believe to Achieve Organization, which was founded by former professional boxer Chuck "Spider" Jones and runs a program out of 160 Chalkfarm Dr. near Sheppard and Wilson avenues, was the inaugural recipient of the first $50,000 MLSE Foundation Community Action Grant.
