This month and every month thereafter, we’re thinking beyond the rainbow. Our role in the communities we serve is to invest in people and places to create exceptional, inclusive residential communities - one building at a time.

Being an ally means more to us than performative activism. We are Greenwin: a tapestry of identities and cultures. That’s the tapestry that has made us the housing brand for all people.

In addition to committing to ensuring that our practices are equitable and inclusive across the board, we have committed to the following:

  1. Ongoing speaker sessions with members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community for our team members
  2. Working with our 2SLGBTQ+ community members to assemble a book/podcast guide for our team
  3. Working with our 2SLGBTQ+ community to identify partner organizations to build relationships with

In a recent conversation with our #SuiteEvents partner Jen Neales, Owner and Creative Director of Little Rebels Music & Development, we asked for some guidance about how we can be allies. Here’s what Jen had to say:

“This can’t stop when June is over. We don’t need to see a rainbow flag as a logo for the month of June. We want to see action throughout the year. We want to know organizations aren’t being trendy in June. We want to know organizations have our backs the other 11 months too.”
