Through the Northern Birthday Box Project, Greenwin Cares helps make birthdays brighter for children living in remote northern communities—many of them Indigenous—where access to party supplies and special treats is often limited.

Today, March 3, we are celebrating Kimberly as she turns 7!

Kimberly lives in Pangnirtung, an Inuit hamlet in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut on Baffin Island. Located roughly 45 km south of the Arctic Circle and close to 2,700 km from the North Pole, Pangnirtung is a truly northern community. For her special day, Kimberly is celebrating with a K-pop Demon Hunters–themed party, and her birthday box includes chocolates, candies, cake mix, icing, and festive decorations to help bring her celebration to life.

The Northern Birthday Box Project goes beyond delivering gifts—it’s about building meaningful connections, honouring each child’s milestone, and reinforcing a sense of community. No matter the distance, every child deserves to feel celebrated and special on their birthday.

Spreading joy, one celebration at a time.
