It was a pleasure to come together in-person once again with our industry peers to recognize leaders in Ontario’s vibrant rental housing industry at the FRPO 2022 Mac Awards last night. Greenwin is thrilled to announce that we took home not one, not two, but three MAC awards in the following categories:
Community Service Award of Excellence
Community Service Award of Excellence recognizes a company that has gone above and beyond to give back to the communities they operate in. At Greenwin, we aim to enrich the quality of life in communities at risk through revitalized housing initiatives and social programming. Spearheaded by our Greenwin Cares division, we focus on providing a safe environment with social enrichment programs that reflect the needs of the neighbourhood. We are so proud to be presented this award for the work our Greenwin Cares team is doing in our communities every day.
Impact Award – Laptops for Learning
Having procured and donated more than 1,000 laptops for youth in Toronto’s Jane and Finch community, Greenwin Cares received the Impact Award for our Laptops for Learning program. Through the program, Laptops – donated by Greenwin Corp. and our community partners – are given to local students who have expressed a need for support. As everything from schooling to socializing, entertainment, and extra-curricular learning is taking place online, we understand the importance that a laptop can have in a child’s life and look forward to continuing to expand this initiative.
Leasing Professional of the Year – Scott McCabe
Greenwin’s Leasing Specialist at 200 Balliol St., Scott McCabe was awarded Leasing Professional of the Year and we couldn’t be more proud! Scott is a highly skilled leasing agent that displays professionalism and enthusiasm consistently. He goes above and beyond to build relationships with prospects and residents to ensure the best possible living experience for every resident at 200 Balliol.
Greenwin was also named a finalist in the Social Media Excellence category.
It is an honour to receive these recognitions alongside of fellow leaders in the rental housing industry, including Starlight Investments, Fitzrovia, Canadian Apartment Properties REIT, Tricon Residential, Hazelview Properties, Medallion Corporation, BentallGreenOak, Skyline Group of Companies, among others.
