On Sunday, #TeamGreenwin came together with friends, family, and thousands of fellow cyclists to help defeat dementia at the second annual Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health. Our team consisted of solo and tandem riders, as we took on the Gardiner Expressway and the DVP in support of Baycrest Foundation.
According to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, more than 590,000 Canadians live with dementia, and more than 900,000 Canadians will live with dementia by 2030. Over 60% of Canadians living with dementia are women.
#TeamGreenwin is proud to announce we have surpassed our goal, raising over $12,762 in support of this amazing cause. Our donation page is still open! If you like to donate, please visit https://baycrestbikeforbrainhealth.crowdchange.ca/16201/team/14737
A big thank you goes out to Team Captain, Ossana B., Manager, Community Engagement, and all participants, supporters, and donors. Congratulations to all riders on this huge achievement!
