There’s nothing more rewarding than inspiring the next generation to explore new career paths. Last week, Lily W., Director of Greenwin Cares, had the honour of sharing her experience as a woman in the construction industry while serving as a panellist at Centennial College’s Ashtonbee Campus. Speaking with school guidance counsellors, Lily discussed the realities and opportunities within the skilled trades, shared practical pathways for high school students, and addressed common misconceptions about careers in this high-demand field.
Attendees also toured Centennial College’s skilled trades facilities, gaining firsthand insight into the programs, training environments, and career pathways available to students.
