Last week, the Jane and Finch neighbourhood came alive at the annual Tastes and Sounds of Jane & Finch! This community event welcomed the youth from the Believe to Achieve Organization and the San Romanoway Revitalization Association, as well as residents from the community for a jam-packed day.

The event showcased all the diverse tastes and talents of the neighbourhood, with music by Concrete Warriors 4 and food from local vendors including samosas, spring rolls, BBQ and more.

Each year, The Tastes and Sounds of Jane & Finch helps create positive change in the Jane and Finch community by promoting equality, inclusion, and diversity. It is a time for everyone to come together, embrace their unique cultures and deepen the bond within the community.

From bouncy castles to cornhole toss and face painting, the event offered a range of activities for all ages.

A special thanks to Durante's No Frills, Belmont Meats, the Toronto Police Services 31 Division CPLC, Victim Services Toronto, Councillor Anthony Perruzza, and other local officials who supported the event.
