Today, we acknowledge International Women’s Day. While it’s important to take the time today to promote the crucial role women play in leading progress and shaping societies around the globe, it’s of equal – if not greater – importance to acknowledge that we are surrounded by changemakers every single day.
To us, it’s more than a 24-hour campaign.
Malala Yousafzai, Pakistani activist for female education, has said, “We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.” Let us continue to amplify women’s voices and hear directly from the daughters, mothers, sisters and aunts leading our organization into the future so that they never know what it means to be silenced. Not just for one day, but 365 days a year.
