Greenwin Cares’ Northern Birthday Box Project brings joy and celebration to children in remote northern, primarily Indigenous communities who have limited access to birthday treats and surprises.
This January, we’re excited to send a special birthday box to Ross, who will be turning 7 on January 4!
Ross lives in Naujaat—formerly known as Repulse Bay until July 2, 2015—an Inuit hamlet on the Arctic Circle. Situated on the shores of Hudson Bay at the south end of the Melville Peninsula in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut, Canada, Ross will be celebrating with an airplane and construction-themed party. His birthday box will be packed with chocolates, candies, cake mix, icing, and decorations to make his day even more memorable.
The Northern Birthday Box Project is about more than gifts—it’s about connection, celebration, and community. Even in the most remote locations, children like Ross can feel remembered, celebrated, and truly special on their big day.
Bringing smiles, one birthday at a time!
