On Thursday, April 7, Greenwin Cares is going to be in the Chalkfarm community with Unison Health & Community Services to host a Free Community Green Market & Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic at Greenwin’s 180 Chalkfarm Dr. property.

CityNews reporter Brandon Rowe caught up with Lily Wong, Director, Greenwin Cares today to learn more about this community event. On Thursday, between 10am – 1:30pm anyone 12 years or older is invited to receive their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at The Chalkfarm Community Centre & Building located at 180 Chakfarm Dr. From 12:00pm – 3pm we will also be hosting a Free Community Green Market where we will have fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as PPE kits available for people to take home (while quantities last).

While the pandemic continues to unfold and food prices skyrocket, it is our number one priority to continue to protect our residents and communities. By providing easy access to vaccines, free healthy food, and PPE kits we can contribute to a healthy and safe lifestyle in our city. We look forward to collaborating with additional healthcare providers and community partners to continue to bring more COVID-19 vaccines and support to the high-priority neighbourhoods where we operate.
