Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete lease renewals, rent calculations while following the RGI guidelines
  • Review eligibility for RGI households annually, within the time frames set out by the City's RGI guidelines
  • Maintain tenant files to ensure they are in accordance with the record keeping requirements set out by the Act
  • Professionally and courteously handle inquiries from prospective/current residents  
  • Complete and execute the signing of all new leases
  • Collect arrear payments and complete cheque processing
  • Follow up with vacancy controls, move outs and rental control, legal processes with arrears collection
  • Take prospective residents to view suites that meet their needs 
  • Regularly inspect upcoming availability of units
  • Provide administrative support to the site staff and Property Manager as required 
  • Assist in maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and public relations including all forms of communications with the residents 
  • Other duties as assigned


  • College/University preferred
  • Yardi Voyager an asset
  • Knowledge of the rental/leasing industry (2 years' experience)
  • Preferred knowledge with Non-Profit Housing Services Act (HSA), Rent Geared Income (RGI) Guidelines
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Maintain professionalism and composure at all times 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Patient and understanding with residents 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
