We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Residential Operations to oversee a dynamic portfolio of residential properties, ensuring operational excellence, high tenant satisfaction, and strong financial outcomes. What you’ll get to do:
Operational Leadership:
- Manage daily site operations, inspections, and capital improvement projects; uphold high standards across all common areas and building systems.
Tenant Relations:
- Build lasting resident relationships by addressing concerns, ensuring service excellence, and supporting long-term retention.
Financial Performance:
- Oversee rent collection, budget management, variance analysis, and reporting; support leasing efforts to drive occupancy and ROI.
Team & Vendor Oversight:
- Lead on-site teams and external service providers to ensure timely, quality service and cost-effective operations.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with applicable legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act; maintain detailed documentation and proactively manage risk.
Innovation & Optimization:
- Leverage new tools, technologies, and practices to improve property performance and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate regularly with leadership, provide reporting, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential property management, with proven leadership in a multi-site environment.
- Certificate or degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; CPM, IHM, or similar designations are an asset.
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and municipal legislation.
- Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated leadership, people management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, diplomacy, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Highly adaptable, organized, and resourceful, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
