Job Description

Summary:  The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team. This position will assist with the development and implementation of policy, recruitment, orientation and onboarding, training schedules, benefits, health and safety and other functional areas as directed.

What you'll get to do:

  • Support Human Resources team with all administration and/or coordination of HR functions, initiatives and legislative requirements
  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment followed by employee orientation and onboarding
  • Monitor job postings on social media, ensuring accuracy across all job boards
  • Participate in the creation, analysis and reporting of HR data and information in support of system processes, maintenance, and updates (training and development, performance reviews, etc.)
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Respond to internal and external Human Resources related inquiries in a timely manner
  • Draft general forms, letters, reports, and memos as necessary
  • Assist with regular research, legislative and compliance initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, current and comprehensive HRIS records
  • Track, follow up and submit WSIB related cases
  • Aid in maintaining positive employee relations and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Perform other duties as required

Who you are:

  • Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field
  • CHRP designation or actively working towards the Designation
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in a customer facing environment and/or HR capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Impeccable administrative skills along with outstanding attention to detail is a must
  • Demonstrated initiative to take leading steps or action, without direction, in order to accomplish tasks or objectives.
  • Ability to self-manage workload with strong time management, planning, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced problem solver. 
  • Robust organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and changing priorities while maintaining high degree of customer service
