Jess Faigal
Director, Finance

As Greenwin's Director, Finance, Jess oversees the Finance Team in the areas of accounting, financial planning and analysis, revenue administration, and accounts payable. Jess leads his group with a focus on providing value-added financial information and services to enhance our clients' assets.

With nearly two decades of experience in property management and real estate development, Jess has held several senior positions in both private and public companies. Jess' work experience is complemented by an Accounting Diploma from Seneca College and a Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University. Jess is also an accredited accountant with the designations of Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant.

Outside of Jess' career, he is an advocate for giving back to the community through his various volunteer services. Jess is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 11098, a charitable organization, which raises funds to support local charities in the Durham Region. Jess also served for 14 years as Treasurer of Ajax-Pickering Dolphins Minor Football Association and Pickering Panthers Minor Hockey.

 

Raymond Gohren
Director, Commercial Real Estate

Raymond has more than two decades of experience in the industry, including leadership roles at Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP, and Metrus Properties.

Most recently, Raymond held the position of Director, Properties and Administration, with Dream Industrial Management, where he was responsible for the management of an industrial and mixed-use portfolio consisting of 5 million square feet in 60 properties with 240 tenants. 

Today, Raymond oversees the day-to-day operations of Greenwin's commercial assets and development projects in Ontario and eastern Canada while identifying new opportunities for expanding the company's commercial footprint country-wide.

Raymond holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Business Administration, from the University of Windsor, is a Real Property Administrator (RPA) from BOMI, and a LEED GA Candidate.

Lucy Gouveia
Director, Marketing & Leasing

Lucy Gouveia runs Greenwin's dynamic, multi-award-winning marketing and leasing department. Focusing her talents on the planning and marketing of a wide range of assets – including third-party managed properties, repositioned portfolios and new developments – Lucy prioritizes quality control, cost efficiencies and customer service in order to maximize value for our clients. 

Lucy began her real estate career with RioCan. She has since worked in a marketing and communications capacity with national firms such as Canadian Tire REIT, MetCap Living, Timbercreek Asset Management and Realstar Residential. In her current role, she oversees the marketing for more than 16,000 rental suites, 1,000,000 sq.ft. of commercial space and several new development sites throughout Ontario and Quebec.

Passionate about relationship-building, mentorship and innovative problem solving, Lucy has a positive, motivational attitude that she imparts on her entire team. Lucy studied hospitality at Humber College and is a member of many professional associations, including: the International Council of Shopping Centres, the Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario, the Building Owners and Managers Association, and the Greater Toronto Apartment Association. She lives in Orangeville with her three children, and spends as much of her free time as possible travelling with her family. 

Jessica Green
Director, Communications

Jessica brings a range of experience in media, publishing and communications to her role as Director, Communications at Greenwin. Having grown up in the development, asset and property management industry, she has an innate understanding of changing demographics and their direct impact on rental properties.

With an honours degree from Queen's University, Jessica has held posts as a lifestyle editor with Transcontinental, Canada's leading consumer magazine publisher, and Zoomer Media.

Since joining Greenwin, she has introduced the company and its clients to several multi-level media platforms, contributing to the modernization of Greenwin's corporate identity and optimal market exposure for assets owned and managed. 

Achievements include WXN's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada; the Prime Minister's Volunteer Award; the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal; the Property Management Advertisement Award – Social Media; the Property Management Advertisement Award – Corporate Branding, and the Community Service Award of Excellence -- the latter three from The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario.

She is a regular columnist for several industry publications.

 

Janet Chamberlain
Director, Operations

Since 2012, Janet has worked as Director, Operations, to maintain Greenwin's reputation for excellence in property management among our extensive portfolio of third-party clients across the GTA and southwestern Ontario. Working closely with a team of Property Managers, Janet provides a dynamic source of direction and leadership to proactively identify client needs and maintain the highest possible standard for client services. 

Janet began her career in the property management industry in 1992, shortly after earning her degree in business. Prior to working at Greenwin, she held several high-level positions across the industry, including serving as Operations Manager for Capreit where she oversaw over 2000 suites across Mississauga and Etobicoke, and successfully running her own marketing and leasing company. She was recognized as FRPO's "Property Manager of the Year" in 2010.

Outside of her career, Janet is an advocate for giving back to the community and has assisted with several toy drives for underprivileged youth in the Jane and Finch corridor. She also enjoys music, fitness and relaxing with her dogs.  

Murray Osterer
Director, Operations

Murray oversees the day-to-day operations of Greenwin's extensive portfolio of properties and development projects across Ontario and eastern Canada. Working with a dynamic team of Site Managers, third-party Property Administrators and internal teams, Murray strategically develops, implements and maintains effective operating procedures in accordance with industry best practices. 

Since entering the property management industry in 1998,Murray's expertise and leadership has earned him the respect of peers and clients alike. Prior to joining Greenwin he held several leadership roles within the property management industry, most recently serving as Regional Director for Transglobe Apartment REIT.

Murray received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Concordia University in 1979, where he played on the university's varsity football team. Today, he continues to share his passion for athletics and mentorship through his volunteer work as a little league baseball coach. 

Shaun Singh
Director, TCHC

As Director of Greenwin's Toronto Community Housing operations, Shaun manages the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of 12 buildings, 30 staff and over 2,500 units. 

Shaun has a long history at Greenwin, starting his career at the company at just 16. Working during summers and on school breaks, he accumulated a breadth of experience in the industry before even getting his diploma. Shortly after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Shaun returned to Greenwin to dive head first into the property management industry and hasn't looked back since. 

In his spare time, Shaun enjoys cheering on Toronto's favourite sports teams and adding to his collection of vintage toys.  

Sam Scalia
Regional Director, Quebec

Sam oversees the strategic direction, management, development and growth of Greenwin's residential platform for the province of Quebec. 

Prior to joining Greenwin, Sam held key roles in the Montreal market, where he built a strong reputation for success through his involvement and expertise in the areas of acquisitions, dispositions, business development, negotiations, tenant and owner relations, operations, and financial planning for private and public investors. In addition to over two decades of formal experience in the industry, Sam brings a unique perspective to the table from having grown up in the high-rise and condo construction industry.

Sam holds certifications in Business and Property Management as well as a Builders License. In addition to this, he maintains a close eye on the pulse of the industry through memberships in the APCHA Builders' Association, CORPIQ Landlord and Tenant Association and Regie du Batiment Quebec Builders Licence. 

Sam is also active in the sporting community. He enjoys interval cycling, ice hockey and was Ville St.Laurent Hockey League VP Operations and League Governor.

Derek Brovold
Director, Operations Non-Profit Housing

Derek oversees the intricate day-to-day operations and asset management of Greenwin's full non-profit and affordable housing portfolio, consisting of over 2,000 units. He received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo before starting his career in property management.

Since joining Greenwin as a Senior Property Manager in 2013, Derek has excelled at managing a core group of assets; establishing a solid track record with staff, clients and Board Members. In 2017, he was honoured by the B'nai Brith Affordable Housing Board for his outstanding service.
