Today, it is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to one of Greenwin's founding partners, Mr. Abraham (Al) Green. Toronto has lost a legend whose memory lives on through his family, friends and the legacy he built in our great city.

Al was an advocate for community building, dedicating himself to funding schools, theatres and community centres throughout the GTA. A lifelong patron of the arts, Al opened a sculpture school for adults, donated studio space to struggling artists and was a principal benefactor to the Art Gallery of Ontario. He is fondly remembered for funding The Artists' Health Centre, a unique facility at Toronto Western Hospital that promotes the health and wellbeing of professional performing and creative artists.

At this time, we extend our deepest condolences to Al's family as well as those whose lives he touched over the course of his 91 years.
