Kevin Green
President
As Greenwin's President, Kevin has more than 25 years of experience in property management, real estate financing and land development. He is also President and CEO of Verdiroc Development Corporation.
Kevin holds an Ontario Real Estate Brokerage license and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, where he attended as a scholarship athlete.
Recognizing the importance of community involvement, Kevin is currently President and Chairman of the San Romanoway Revitalization Association, an organization in the Jane and Finch area of Toronto, which seeks to improve the lives of residents through their private communities.
He is also Chairman of the International Tennis Centre and President of the Canada Israel Children's Centre - both charitable organizations.
Cary J. Green
Chairman
As Chairman of Greenwin, Cary brings more than two decades of experience in political liaison, land development and property acquisitions. Also Executive Vice President of Verdiroc Development Corporation, a real estate development firm and sister company of Greenwin, Cary oversees Verdiroc's residential, retail, commercial and mixed-use projects.
Cary has an Honours B.A. from York University and brings direct management experience to all development projects. For more than two decades, he has been instrumental in the development of over 1,600 non-profit and affordable housing units and upwards of 1,000 condominium and freehold residential units. More recently, Cary has developed projects in Florida, Montreal, Ottawa and Moncton, N.B.
Passionate about community involvement in both Canada and Israel, Cary currently sits on the Board of Governors for the Israel Children's Centres and is a Board Member of the Friends of Rambam Hospital. He is also an Executive on the Board of Directors for the Canada-Israel Committee, Vice President of the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company and a member of the City of Toronto's Affordable Housing Committee.
Past volunteer work includes twelve years with the Salvation Army, the City of Toronto's Urban Development Roundtable on Rental Housing, Habitat for Humanity, Realizing the Dream Foundation and the Canadian Jewish Congress.
Haya Zilberboim
Chief Executive Officer
Haya brings more than 20 years of diverse international experience in real estate, investment banking, operations and finance with several public and private companies headquartered in Canada, the US and Israel.
As Greenwin's CEO, she leads the company's asset and property management services, while overseeing all aspects of acquisition and partnership opportunities, and the operation and management of Greenwin's commercial and residential portfolios.
Haya came to Greenwin from Fishman Holdings, where she managed the company's portfolio of North American commercial and residential properties as COO and CFO. A Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Business degree and a Master of Education Administration degree, Haya's career began in 1987 at KPMG Israel. She has since held senior positions with high-tech private and NASDAQ-traded companies and KPMG Canada.
Haya currently sits on the Board of Governors for the Canada Israel Chamber of Commerce.
Craig Harwood
Director of Finance
Craig has almost 20 years of experience in corporate finance. His background includes financial analysis, modeling and strategic planning as well as business reorganization and integration, cost containment and profit management.
Holding a degree in Financial Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Craig started his career at KPMG where he earned his Chartered Accountant accreditation and has since held senior financial posts with companies such as Rogers, Ketchum Canada, Actuate and, most recently, Orthotic Holdings.
As Greenwin's Director of Finance, Craig is responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of Greenwin's residential and commercial portfolios as well as budgets, processes, controls and the supporting IT systems.Dedicated to non-profit youth initiatives, Craig is currently a board member at the Rondeau Yacht Club, which provides summertime water-sport opportunities as well as employment and leadership training for students.
Bruce Creber
VP Residential
Bruce joins Greenwin with more than 20 years of experience in real estate in development as well as asset and property management services. Bruce majored in economics at York University and has held posts with companies such as Cadillac Fairview, Bramalea, and O & Y Enterprise.
Most recently, Bruce was VP Real Estate Investments with Counsel Corporation, where he was responsible for the redevelopment of several commercial properties in Ontario and New Brunswick.He was also a member of the due diligence team responsible for evaluating numerous investment opportunities as well as conducting investigations leading to the successful acquisition of investment properties.
In this role, Bruce is responsible for the professional management and day-to-day operations of Greenwin's residential properties, ensuring that the goals and objectives of our clients' investment/assets with us are met and exceeded.
Bruce spends most of his spare time outdoors, raising his three children and practicing Systema, a Russian martial art.
Steve Benac
Director of Commercial Real Estate
Steve has more than 20 years of commercial property management and leasing experience. As Greenwin’s Director of Commercial Real Estate, he oversees all aspects of the division, including the negotiation of all commercial real estate transactions, strategic planning, financial performance of the properties in the portfolio, the leasing of Greenwin’s commercial portfolio and oversee third-party leasing brokers.
Steve holds a Business and Property Management diploma from George Brown College and completed his real estate licensing with the Ontario Real Estate Association. Affiliations and memberships include the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Canada, where he was recently appointed to the Regulatory Affairs Committee (BOMA Toronto), and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
Lily Wong
Director of Social Housing
Lily has been in the business of property management and construction since 1997. Having held several positions in both capacities, she brings a diverse breadth of knowledge and experience to Greenwin's social development arm and has an extensive background in strategic planning, operations and finance.
Lily has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management from Ryerson University and maintains a dedication to continuing education, which includes certificates in e-business, telecommunications, business management and human resources.
Committed to community revitalization and customer-service excellence, Lily's hands-on, systematic approach to improving the quality of life for tenants in Greenwin's affordable housing portfolio has played an instrumental role in multiple successful turnaround efforts in Toronto's priority neighbourhoods.
Mark Kesseler
Director of Construction & Physical Operations
Mark's expertise in instituting and operating building automation systems and project management of heating plant retrofits for major clients, earned him a recent promotion to Greenwin's Director of Commercial & Physical Operations.
After graduating Civil Engineering Techniques Durham College, Oshawa in 1982, Mark operated his own commercial interior construction company for several years before joining Greenwin in 1988.
As a hands-on maintenance supervisor over the years, Mark evolved his skills and knowledge of High Rise Mechanical Systems & Operations to focus on HVAC maintenance, repair and replacement.
Jessica Green
Marketing Director
Jessica brings a range of experience in media, publishing and communications to her role as Marketing Director at Greenwin. Having grown up in the development, asset and property management industry, she has an innate understanding of changing demographics and their direct impact on rental properties.
With an honours degree from Queen’s University, Jessica has held posts as a lifestyle editor with Transcontinental, Canada's leading consumer magazine publisher, and Zoomer Media.
Since joining Greenwin, she has introduced the company and its clients to several multi-level media platforms, contributing to the modernization of Greenwin’s corporate identity and optimal market exposure for assets owned and managed. Recent editorial coverage obtained includes articles in the Toronto Star, Canadian Apartment Magazine, Renters Guide, The Halifax Chronicle Herald and Canadian Jewish News.
In keeping with the company’s long-standing tradition of improving community safety and quality of life through social programming for all age groups, Jessica is currently a project manager with The Oaks Revitalization Association, a registered charity based out of a Greenwin property in Toronto’s Jane/Wilson corridor. In collaboration with Greenwin’s Director of Community Housing, Jessica recently secured a donation from TD Securities to build an on-site basketball court, which launched Summer 2011.
