We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to gather and compile essential rental data, including rents, unit sizes, unit types, building owner addresses, and locations. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and excellent communication abilities. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently with minimal supervision and is comfortable with data entry tasks.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Collect rental data from various sources such as property websites, owner databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Compile and organize data in Excel format monthly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct thorough property evaluations through mystery shopping techniques.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of data collection and entry.
  • Collaborate closely with team members on various projects, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication.
  • Utilize strong searching skills to efficiently gather relevant information.
  • Adaptability to handle multiple files and projects simultaneously.
  • Perform data mining tasks and assist in demographic analysis.
  • Occasionally travel to conduct mystery shopping and gather demographic data.

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in research-related roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal presentations and correspondence.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, including data mining and analysis.
  • Comfortable with data entry tasks and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Availability for occasional travel as required for research purposes.
